About Daniel
Daniel Myers is the Digital & Technical Lead at Inclusion Support Hub.
He has a strong interest in technology, website development and digital systems. His practical experience includes website testing, server hosting, user experience and identifying technical improvements.
Daniel is also autistic and ADHD. Therefore, he understands how confusing or overwhelming digital platforms can feel when they are poorly organised or difficult to use.
Role at Inclusion Support Hub
Daniel works behind the scenes to support the technical development of Inclusion Support Hub.
His role includes testing website functions, reviewing user journeys and identifying problems that could affect accessibility or ease of use. He also gives feedback on which improvements should take priority.
Before the team commits to a technical change, Daniel considers the purpose, possible risks and long term impact. His strategic approach helps the Hub make more informed decisions about its website and digital systems.
Website Testing & User Experience
Daniel has more than 10 years of experience using and testing websites across different platforms.
During that time, he has regularly identified technical problems, confusing processes and areas that could be improved. He is particularly good at looking at a website from the user’s perspective and asking questions that others may overlook.
As a result, his feedback helps the team improve website functions, navigation and overall user experience.
Server & Community Experience
Daniel has more than 10 years of practical experience hosting and managing online servers.
Most of this experience has involved game servers across computers and mobile devices. He has also managed online communities and server spaces through platforms such as Discord.
Through this work, Daniel has developed experience in server setup, permissions, troubleshooting, moderation and community management.
Current Technical Development
Daniel continues to develop his technical knowledge through practical learning.
He is currently building his WordPress and website development skills. He has also returned to learning HTML and JavaScript after several years away from coding.
Although Daniel has previous experience with these coding languages, he is currently refreshing his knowledge and rebuilding his confidence through further practice.

Daniel takes a careful and practical approach to decisions.
Rather than committing to an idea immediately, he asks questions and considers what could happen next. He also looks at whether a decision is realistic, necessary and suitable for the people affected by it.
This approach makes him an important part of planning technical changes and future developments within Inclusion Support Hub.
Outside of Inclusion Support Hub
Away from the Hub, Daniel enjoys exploring new places with his family. He particularly enjoys nature walks, National Trust locations and visits to Bowood House and Gardens.
He is often responsible for researching and choosing the family’s next holiday. Other interests include swimming, bowling, archery and gaming.
Daniel also enjoys anime, horror, thrillers and action films. His favourite foods include Chinese, Japanese and Indian cuisine.

He is often described as good company and has a strong sense of humour. His friendly nature also helps him communicate with different people and contribute to the Hub’s community focused approach.
