ONLINE INTEREST-BASED GROUPS FOR AUTISTIC YOUNG PEOPLE
ONLINE INTEREST & PEER GROUPS FOR AUTISTIC CHILDREN & TEENS
GROVE runs online interest‑based peer groups for Autistic children and young people to build friendships, connect through shared interests and feel genuinely understood in a neuro‑affirming, entirely Autistic space. GROVE’s Mentors are all Autistic and are autism specialists ensuring we are at the cutting-edge of neuro-affirming practice.
WHY ONLINE CLUBS FOR AUTISTIC CHILDREN MATTER
Friendship, connection, and shared interests are central to the wellbeing of Autistic children and young people. Online interest‑based peer groups provide a safe space for young people to meet others who understand them, explore hobbies and passions, and form friendships in a way that feels comfortable and authentic. Unlike traditional social skills groups, these sessions focus on connection through shared interests, not “fixing” social behaviour. By participating in these groups, young people can build confidence, feel understood, and strengthen their sense of belonging within a neuro‑affirming community.
WHO GROVE’S GROUPS ARE FOR
Our online interest groups are designed for Autistic children and teens who want to connect with peers in a safe, inclusive and understanding space. You do not need a formal diagnosis – self-identification is fully supported. We welcome young people who are looking for friendship, shared activities and opportunities to explore their interests alongside peers who understand their experience. Each group is structured by age range and interests. We are based in the UK but young people from across the globe can join!
